Beechhurst is a neighborhood in the northeasten part of the New York City borough of Queens, and is considered part of Whitestone. It is an Upper-Middle class neighborhood with an affluent population. Houses in Whitestone are generally more expensive than other neighborhoods with prices ranging from $800,000 to two million dollars, especially by the waterfront. Beechhurst is near the East River, north of the Cross Island Parkway and between the approaches to the Throgs Neck Bridge and Whitestone Bridge. The neighborhood is part of Queens Community Board 7.
